Have you ever been alone in a crowded room?

Have you ever felt alone in a crowded room before?
Its ok if you have because you are not alone. I feel that way almost constantly. Like I am the odd ball out, and I am just there to fill space. Its like a case of the ugly duckling, or the kid who is just there and no one knows why. This is no pity party, believe me. I just feel like when I am around most people, they don't get me, and don't even try to. Very select people in this world actually know me for who I truly am. Don't get me wrong, I love socializing and being with a crowd who actually talks and can hold a conversation with me...... but I feel that most people don't even bother trying having a full out, deep conversaton with me. This is kind of depressing because I am a very deep person, I am a great listener and I have a great perspective on things.... people just dont even bother getting to know me. To them it seems that I am just there and they just accept me into their "groups" because they have to. They peg me with names to joke around and such, but I know even though they are joking around they actually do mean what they say(sadly). If they didnt mean it, they would actually be able to sit down and have a full out conversation with me.... but they don't. I know when people joke around with me that it is all in good humor and they dont mean to hurt me..... but after a while it starts to eat away and hurt more. I just wish everyone knew me for who I am and not take me for granted.
Until then, I remain the odd ball out, the fly on the wall... just taking up space waiting for someone to reach out to me.

My Grown Up Christmas

9:41 AM Edit This 1 Comment »

The Christmas season is the most wonderful time of the year (well most would say)......This time is also very stressful as well, even for me.... but i am not going to get into the whole stressful part in this post.... .
With all the festive music and decorations, its hard not to be cheerful and jolly. So needless to say, all this Christmas spirit and such does put me in a good mood.
This year I really want to say how very thankful I am for the joy and love my friends and family bring to me. With out them, I have absolutely no idea where I would be. They have done so much for me in so many different ways and I have no idea how to thank them enough. The impact that they have made on me has completely changed my life around.
I remember being younger and actually having a list of toys and such that I really wanted "Santa" to bring
for me on Christmas day. The older I have become, the less that has been on my list. In fact I haven't had anything on my list for myself the past couple of years. I have realized that as long as I have my friends and family, and I am doing what I love and what makes me happy, I am completely content with everything.

So just to be slightly annoying, I have put some select lyrics from "My Grown Up Christmas List"
hahahah oh jeepers

"No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown up christmas list"

Laundry!!

What would be good sign that its time to do laundry?
Probably when your clothes hamper looks like this:

......Except imagine that and multiply it by two. That is how much laundry I have to get done. So I name today as "Laundry Day."
I believe I have about 4/5 large loads to do ..... and that's cramming as many clothes into the washing machine as possible.
Looks like I will be completely occupied today.

ooh sad thing...... I ran out of laundry detergent..... looks like I will be making a quick stop to Publix soon!!!

Flat Tire >=(

10:23 AM Edit This 1 Comment »

Its so annoying to get a flat tire. Its even more obnoxious to get a second flat tire a week later! The first flat tire was fine because it was just a nail in the tire slowly deflating, so cheap and easy to fix. The second one was Halloween night arriving at my friend Dusty's house. The tire completely popped and I have no idea how it happened. Later that night, Dusty put my already used donut/spare tire on there so I could atleast drive home. The sucky part of this is not only the expense of having to get a new tire, but to try and find rides to work, and if no one is willing to helo you out, you have to call in. Today was one of those days that no one would give me a ride, so I wound up calling in today..... pissed because I need the money... but when I looked at my donut/spare this morning, it was flat. Now I have to pay for towing as well!! Ugh!!!

Alice in Wonderland.... feed your head?

9:27 PM Edit This 2 Comments »

Ah yes, the Disney classic Alice in Wonderland. Where do I even begin?

The novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, was originally written in 1865 by author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. This was way before Disney ever took the story over into their own hands. For any one who has read the book, it is clear that the movie has tweaked the story a bit and added their own creative things to it. For example.... talking/singing flowers. But dont worry, the hookah smoking catepillar was the exact same in both. ;-)

Watching it tonight with my roomie, Bry, was quite entertaining. Seeing how there is really no plot, and really no reason for most of the scenes in the movie/book............ made us wonder what kind of drugs they were taking while writing/creating this story??? Personally, I would really like to know.

Now I leave you with a great song by Jefferson Airplane...... in which most people believe this song is about the story of Alice....... hahahah

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall

And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call
Recall Alice
When she was just small

When men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving slow
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know

When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said;
"FEED YOUR HEAD

Things I have learned

Below is a list that I have created using a couple of my pics on my phone. This list contains some of the many things I have learned since moving to Florida a year ago

cocktails can be very tasty and very artistic

Faking plastic surgery is a great way to get the attention of a crowd

Why boys aren't allowed to wear hair pieces for Block Party...

Dusty is a rock star

Modified duty SUCKS

Though very small, Evie (the Yorkie) is very agressive... looks can be deceiving

Spiders are HUGE down south..... mmm more like all bugs are bigger down here

Up north they use their creativity and boredom to build abominable snowmen... It is said to be a great guardian for your doorstep

It is safe to say that I do not look good with short hair....

Nor do I look good as a man.

If you have a dashboard full of change, its fun to chuck them out your window at other drivers... especially if they are your friends.

Bubble Baths

Sometimes after work, all I really want to do is take a bubble bath. Bubbles baths are a great way to wind down, soothe the mind and relax the over worked muscles.

One great tip while bubble bathing is to have dim lighting to set the mood. An arrangement of candles are the perfect lighting and mood setter.

The final touch would be some low key music. The type of music that relaxes you and takes your mind off of all your troubles.

So take a bubble bath after that long day of work! You deserve it!

Bella Swan

So I just took 2 different quizes about what Twilight character I am.... turns out I am Bella Swan! check it out! =P

Bella Swan You are Bella Swan, the apple of Edward's eye. You are very private, clumsy, sweet, and funny. You have a wonderful ability to accept people (or mythical creatures) for what they are. You have an amazing capacity to love, even though you can be too hard on yourself.

You're Bella Swan - You are intelligent and kind but not quite sure what you want out of life yet. You have a feeling there's something more out there for you. You're attracted to those who are real and avoid the fake. Sometimes you're a bit accident prone, but your true friends will always be loyal to you and come to your aid when you need it.

What is a klutz

12:06 PM Edit This 0 Comments »
A klutz is a person who is clumsy, foolish, inept, or accident-prone.

For those of you who know me, I would classify as a klutz. It has become quite the on going joke among fellow friends and the HSM cast. I am going to be very honest..... yes I fall .... quite frequently. Off stage, on stage, even just walking down a smooth straight path. For some reason, I am prone to accidents. I trip, fall, spill things, drop things, get hit with random objects on a daily basis. I know, quite sad, but lets be honest very entertaining with the right attitude =). I have learned to laugh at my clumsiness because it just happens so often. So I am here to tell you a few stories of my own so you can better understand the life of being a klutz.

Many a times in the show HSM2, I have fallen or dropped props making quite the scene. I have missed footing and bit it having a metal bowl hit me in the head, followed by its wisk. I have been smashed into by someone not looking and flew back...molding to the float stairs with the bats in my hand flying everywhere. I have sprained and twisted my ankles. I have dropped the metal bowl I hold in "Work this Out" on the ground repetitively.... at least 5 times in less than a minute. That show has seen a plentiful amount of my clumsiness.

Off stage, however, is another story. I am ALWAYS spilling something... on myself, on the floor, on someone or something. I drop things all the time. I also tend to bump into things constantly. It isn't an easy life for the common klutz, that's for sure. Not only do you get made fun of, but you are prone to making a fool out of yourself if not hurting yourself on a daily basis.

the higher the hair the closer to god

So Ive always wanted big hair, but i never knew how to make it look big and pretty and stay in place. My hair is thin and needs more excitement and volume. I was over a friends house and I saw my friend teasing hair. From that moment on I decided I wanted to start teasing my hair as much as possible.

there have been many more ocassions where teasing has been done but I dont take may pictures so maybe when I make a real funky one I'll post a pic up!

and that is all for my silly short blog

Lightning

6:59 AM Edit This 0 Comments »

Have you ever experienced something so beautiful yet so ridiculously scary at the same time? I sure have! Ok, so I'm the type of girl who loves and believes nature is beautiful, and lightning storms are one of my favorite things. I don't exactly know what it is about them that i love so much. Maybe its just the fact that electricity forms in the sky shooting down to earth creating a phenomenon for some viewers and terror for others. One of my favorite past times was when my Dad and I sat on the front porch and watch the T-storms pass by.
But that was up in lil Rhode Island. Now I live down in Florida, the lightning capital of the world! Exciting, I know.
Now to my story: My roomie, Peter, and I decided to go to the gym at out apartment complex. While we were working out we started to hear thunder in the distance (which is nothing unusual), so we decided to head back to our place. Jokingly I asked if we should run back, but neither of us like to run or were in the mood to. Then Peter makes a comment about how dark and scary the clouds above us were. Not only were these clouds evil and dark looking, it appeared as if they were circling above us, and rapidly. The more I looked at the clouds, I found these odd patches of aqua in the sky. I have never seen such a pretty, odd, yet scary color in the sky like that before. About a minute later, lighting right above us shoots down, separating into 3 streaks, and scares the living daylights out of us. We scream so loud and start running for our lives! Seconds later another lightning streak hits right near us again and we jump to hide. They were literally RIGHT THERE! I thought we were going to get struck! We finally got back to the apartment, and I literally collapse on the ground trying to catch my breath and slow my heart rate. I have never experienced anything like that before in my life. It was the most exhilarating, breathtaking, life-threatening and scary moment I have ever encountered.
